Currently recruiting a Financial Controller for an established Mining company in London. The role is being recruited on a 12 month contract basis and will cover all areas of Financial Control.
Currently recruiting a Financial Controller for an established Mining company in London. The role is being recruited on a 12 month contract basis and will cover all areas of Financial Control.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly consolidation and leading financial close process
- Preparing monthly management reporting pack
- Preparing quarterly and annual Financial Statements
- Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Analysing monthly financial information from operating sites
- Overseeing and preparing Internal Audit papers
- Supporting annual audit process
- Ad hoc tasks as required
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant, practice trained
- Strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS and UK Gaap
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to manage varied tasks and work to deadlines
- Team player with eye for detail
- Advanced IT skills
