Currently recruiting a Financial Controller for an established Mining company in London. The role is being recruited on a 12 month contract basis and will cover all areas of Financial Control.

Currently recruiting a Financial Controller for an established Mining company in London. The role is being recruited on a 12 month contract basis and will cover all areas of Financial Control.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly consolidation and leading financial close process
  • Preparing monthly management reporting pack
  • Preparing quarterly and annual Financial Statements
  • Reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Analysing monthly financial information from operating sites
  • Overseeing and preparing Internal Audit papers
  • Supporting annual audit process
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

The candidate:

  • Qualified accountant, practice trained
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS and UK Gaap
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to manage varied tasks and work to deadlines
  • Team player with eye for detail
  • Advanced IT skills
