We are working with a professional services firm based in the city of London to find a new finance manager to join their team. The global business offer a rewarding, meritocratic environment perfect for building a career.
You will play an integral role in supporting our client's ongoing growth strategy. You will assist with the day-to-day management of the Management Accounts team, ensuring the efficient running by continuously looking to strengthen controls and introduce improvements.
Key remits to the role will include;
- Assisting with day-to-day management of the Management Accounts team
- Manage the production of timely & accurate monthly management accounts
- Review & post monthly journals for accrued and deferred revenue, accruals, depreciation, prepayments, operating expenses etc.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable process oversight
- Prepare monthly Group recharges and ensure intercompany reconciliation is completed monthly
- Assist with preparation of statutory entity tax and statutory filings
- Support ad hoc projects to improve the functioning of the finance team
The ideal candidate will be
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong management accounting experience
- First-class interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability of having lead and developed individuals within a team
- Strong Excel skills, strong IT systems skills, good knowledge of SAGE desirable
- Ability to cope with demanding and fast-paced environment of a growing business with an active M&A strategy
- Excellent organisation skills and rigorous attention to detail
