An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Financial Reporting Manager to join an ever-evolving Statutory Reporting team. This role is primarily responsible for delivering statutory reporting and audit for both regulated and non-regulated legal entities within a multinational company. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a multinational company, with a strong background in preparing statutory financial statements and reporting. You will lead and manage audits from planning the strategy and working with external auditors to meet external audit and regulatory standards.
What you'll do:
As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering statutory reporting and audit for both regulated and non-regulated legal entities within our multinational organisation. Your expertise in preparing statutory financial statements will be crucial as you lead audits, plan strategies, and work closely with external auditors to meet regulatory standards. You will also collaborate with various teams across the organisation to align on financial reporting matters. Your ability to monitor changes in accounting standards, assess their potential impact on their processes, and support the development of internal controls will be key to your success in this role.
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate and manage the statutory audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain a deep understanding of applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial reporting matters.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulations and assess the potential impact on financial reporting processes.
- Support the development of internal controls and procedures.
What you bring:
As our client's new Financial Reporting Manager, you bring a wealth of experience in accounting and financial reporting. You should be ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 3 years' experience under your belt. Your knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS or US GAAP, allows you to handle complex transactions with ease. You have proven experience supporting statutory audits, delivering full financial statements from trial balances, and engaging effectively with external auditors. Your excellent organisational skills enable you to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience in delivering full financial statements from trial balances.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and standards, including IFRS or US GAAP.
- Proven experience supporting statutory audits.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
