Our client is seeking a performance-driven Accounts Payable Team Leader to join their Transactional Shared Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a high calibre leader to develop the team, ensuring consistent performance and maintaining a well-organised Accounts Payable function. As an Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading and developing the Accounts Payable team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end process of invoice processing, reconciling supplier statements, preparing payment runs, and acting as an escalation point for any supplier payment related matters. You will also work closely with the AP Manager to identify and implement process improvements across the team.

  • Lead the Accounts Payable team, monitoring performance against key performance indicators
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices/credits received
  • Oversee reconciliation of supplier statements to AP Ledger
  • Prepare payment runs and oversee the process to completion
  • Act as escalation contact regarding any supplier payment related matters
  • Support the AP Manager in identifying and implementing process improvements

The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Team Leader position brings demonstrable experience leading an end-to-end Accounts Payable process, preferably in a Shared Services environment. You have a keen attention to detail, are committed to delivering high-quality work, and can balance competing priorities. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to work effectively with various stakeholders. Additionally, your excellent customer service skills ensure that all supplier queries are resolved in a timely manner.
