Robert Walters are excited to be partnering with a leading technology solutions business in their search for a qualified Finance Manager. Our client is going through a sustained period of growth, and as such are looking to expand their high-calibre and successful finance team. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this newly created role would see the right individual be responsible for the delivery of high quality, timely internal financial reporting, for all accounting policies and processes and contributing to a high-class finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle and reporting results to the executive team.
• Prepare the Monthly Reporting Pack(s) to the required deadlines ensuring the information is robust and accurate.
• Prepare the monthly consolidated P&L and balance sheet, including supporting analysis where required.
• Lead and develop the small team of part-qualified accountants.
• Support the Financial Controller as needed with all finance tasks.
• Ensure all month end journals are accurate and correctly authorised with adequate supporting documentation.
• Work with the FP&A team to prepare detailed budgets and forecasts.
• Understand the monthly numbers and be able to provide clear explanations.
• Maintenance of a strong accounting control environment via monthly balance sheet reconciliation process.
• Identify and deliver process efficiencies in the month-end to accelerate the delivery speed of Financial Reporting Pack.
• Work closely with the transactions and payroll teams to ensure costs and incomes accounted for correctly.

Key Skills:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 2/3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Ability to interface with all levels of management and staff, with the ability to communicate effectively regardless of audience.
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge effectively.
