Management Accountant (Part Qualified or QBE) Robert Walters have partnered with an industry leading, and rapidly growing service organisation based in Guildford, who are looking to hire a Management Accountant (Part Qualified) on a permanent basis. Working within a team that covers commercial, financial and statutory compliance, this is a fast paced and varied management accounting position. This Management Accountant position would suit an ambitious individual who is currently studying and wants to work within a varied and challenging environment.

Key responsibilities:
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including all journal postings.
• Preparation, management and delivery of cash flow forecasts.
• Debtor management for entities.
• Preparation of periodic financial reporting and variance to budget analysis for internal and external clients.
• Preparation and submission of periodic VAT returns for entities.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Assist in preparation of statutory accounts and annual audit.
• Supporting continuous improvements to accounting and reporting processes together with the wider Finance and ERP Development teams.
• Supporting regular queries from the operational business.

Experience required:
• ACA , ACCA , CIMA Part-Qualified or equivalent.
• IFRS, FRS 102, FRS 101 and UK GAAP knowledge and an understanding of both management and statutory accounting.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
• Quick learner and adaptable to change, with very strong communication skills.
• Experience of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounting routines.
• Experience of using an ERP system (use of Agresso/Business World a distinct advantage but not essential).
