Finance Manager - Revenue

We are working on behalf of an exciting Tech/Insurance company in their search for a Finance Manager - Revenue.

This Tech/Insurance company is currently undergoing an exciting growth phase and are looking for a driven Finance Manager - Revenue to help continue this growth and improve efficiency.

This role would suit a qualified accountant with a mix of practice and industry experience. The key focus areas are owning revenue and direct cost accounting/assurance and month end close.

Finance Manager - Revenue, Key Responsibilities:

• Ownership over revenue and direct cost (commission) accounting and assurance:

• Business partnering with Accounts Management team

• Review and understand contracts to ensure proper recognition under ASC 606 for US GAAP

• Analyse and understand various products/business and revenue/expense streams to ensure proper setup in the system

• Create and analyse revenue related reports

• Participate in documentation and monitoring of revenue-related policies, procedures, and controls

• Review accounts receivables for cash flow purposes

• Month end close:

• Business partnering with FP&A team to produce month close accruals and flash reports

• Month-end financial close review of revenue and direct expense ledgers with closing schedules: prepare revenue journal entries and account reconciliations

• Review and approval of journals and reconciliations performed by accountants within the team

• Preparation of European consolidated management reports, with commentary and variance analysis

• Analysis of accruals vs actuals post month-end close

Ideal Candidate

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or international equivalent)

• Strong excel skills and NetSuite experience desirable

• Managerial experience preferred but not essential

• Good time management and organisational skills

• Mix of practice/industry experience
