Senior Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager to join a leading global Media business based in London.

Working in the events team, the Senior Finance Manager role will be the lead finance contact for several of the companies events so it will suit someone with a strong understanding of Financial controls, Management accounting and budgeting, forecasting and analysis. The ideal candidate will be someone with great communication skills as you will be required to business partner with different stakeholders across the events being held.

The office is located in London, however you will have the ability to work from home at least once a week.

The Senior Finance Manager role will involve:

• Overseeing the entire finance function for certain events

• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes and analysis of variances

• Reviewing and reconciling operations budgets

• Providing management reporting for decision making

• Business modelling for development opportunities

• Business Partnering with key stakeholders in the business

• Create detailed finance models with relevant metrics and forecasts

• Business and cash flow planning

• Manage risks and operations across the events

• Deliver month end for the events alongside the management accountant

The candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA equivalent)

• Excellent communication skills

• IT literate, including strong Excel skills

• Attention to detail and able to manage a broad workload and prioritise tasks

• Work to tight deadlines
