Finance Manager

We’re currently working with a Sports Media/Marketing company in their search for a Finance Manager. Our clients partner with some of the world’s most exciting and ambitious brands in sport, entertainment, and lifestyle.

In what will be a very hands-on role, the successful candidate will have exposure across the entire agency, from senior leadership through to account executives and will need to be able to adapt to a very fast paced environment, whilst maintaining the highest standards of process and integrity over the finances of the business

The Finance Manager will report into the CEO providing financial information in a timely and accurate manner to help inform decision making.

The Finance Manager role will include:

• Lead the day-to-day management of the financial function in the business.

• Preparation of monthly management and annual reporting.

• Management of the transactional finance (AP / AR / credit control).

• Prepare and roll out company budget.

• Preparation of quarterly board packs.

• Internal and external stakeholder management

• Managing and sign-off of the payroll function.

• Cash flow management

• Create and maintain a rolling forecast function, identifying any opportunities or risks.

• Balance sheet reconciliation

• Work closely with leadership team in key decision making.

• Departmental and Client profitability reporting

• Assisting CEO with up to date and accurate financial information.

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and have 2 year’s experience working within a fast-paced environment, ideally having worked within a similar media/marketing agency environment. The role will be hybrid with the office located in East London.
