This is a great opportunity for a Qualified Finance Business Partner to join a rapidly growing business and take ownership of the role. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for the business planning, cash flow forecasting and the associated regulatory reporting requirements of the organisation, overseeing the financial monitoring and reporting of the investment and development programmes.
Ensure financial information is correctly accounted for in the general ledger, enabling the Finance team to accurately report the monthly financial results to their relevant customers, ensuring financial forecasts are challenged appropriately when required.
Ensure we maximise the use of IT systems and continually evaluate processes to drive efficiencies across the team, increasing effectiveness and ensuring added value wherever possible.
Not limited to:
Provide quality finance business partnering services to the asset management and development operational teams, delivering tailored financial support and providing challenge where necessary to aid decision making and reporting
Manage the team responsible for the financial monitoring and reporting of the Investment and Development Programme budgets and ongoing monthly variance analysis and forecasting, providing concise, timely and accurate financial data, ensuring financial compliance with key housing accounting practice.
Responsible for the financial appraisal and business modelling of new developments, business opportunities and investment major repairs to enable informed decision making and assess viability.
Provide businesses financial planning service, producing and managing the businesses 30 year financial plan, using the Brixx software, ensuring prudent and realistic assumptions are used and the model is aligned with the FFR guidance and accounting treatment in the Statutory Accounts.
Management of the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring all budgets are accounted for accurately and adequate controls and audit trails are in place.
Responsible for the treasury management activity, adhering to treasury strategy and policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to covenants and meeting reporting deadlines as and when required in relation to the businesses loan facility agreement(s).
