As a result of growth an extremely exciting Interim CFO opportunity, in Central London, has now presented itself. This will allow the company to continue to focus on its growth while it determines the most suitable structure for the business and its finance operation that will then allow it to embark upon a permanent search in due course The business is due to undertake second stage funding next year and so is seeking an Interim CFO who can work with the board to establish a strong financial model, in anticipation of due diligence, and to allow it to continue to focus on its targets and ambitions.
The organisation has a significant stock value and so experience of managing physical stock and its supply chain is crucial.
Along with strong P&L forecasting and management, and financial modelling experience, the CFO will need to have:
- early stage funding experience
- worked in an international group structure that includes China and the US
- strategy and long term planning experience within a start-up or SME
- experience of working with or leading HR programs and processes
The successful CFO must have strong technical accounting ability and be able to operate effectively in a young, growing business. They must be an ACA qualified accountant with experience of the rigours of a large corporate as well as the challenges of a start up in the technology and consumer products sectors.
