  • Act as the main point of contact for your own portfolio of clients primarily within the financial services and technology sectors, building trusted relationships through attentive service.
  • Oversee onsite manager reviews of audit work when required, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Directly line-manage 2–3 team members while engaging collaboratively with a wider audit team of approximately 70 professionals.
  • Plan jobs efficiently to maximise productivity across audits while considering firm-wide objectives and resource allocation.
  • Promote the interests of the firm by representing its values positively with colleagues, clients, prospective clients, and third parties alike.
  • Motivate and encourage your team by fostering an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels supported and valued.
  • Participate in advisory projects for financial services firms and technology businesses including KPI benchmarking, strategic growth opportunities, and structuring advice.
  • Mentor trainees during their training contracts by providing assistance, support, and knowledge sharing whenever needed.

What you bring:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards relevant to the role.
  • Experience operating at Audit Manager level within a similar Top 20 accountancy firm or equivalent environment.
  • Proven track record managing multiple audits concurrently while meeting deadlines without compromising on quality or attention to detail.

  • Commitment to audit quality demonstrated by meticulous approach to reviewing work and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to motivate others through encouragement, constructive feedback, and fostering an inclusive team spirit.
