Robert Walters are hiring for a Technical Advisor, Accounting and Audit for a well-known membership body for accountants.

This is a permanent, full-time role that is 100% remote working.

It comes with a salary of circa £75k-£77k plus benefits package.

The Technical Advisor will form part of a high-calibre in-house team whose primary goal is to provide technical advice on audit and accounting issues in response to queries from members of this organisation.

It's a great role for someone wanting to use their brain on a day-to-day basis or for someone enjoying the technical side of accountancy - You will need to utilize a variety of resources in order to answer queries; your own technical knowledge or that of your colleagues, a database of prior technical queries, and if all else fails then conducting your own research to find the answers.

On top of the technical advice piece, this person will also get involved in a range of other work - Providing technical training sessions, updating the website and other media with technical content, and a variety of project work - e.g. helping to design and implement an AI-powered chatbot to tackle certain technical queries.
