Audit Policy and Quality Manager

Audit Policy and Quality Manager - Membership Organisation - London with extensive home-working - Circa £70k-£75k + benefits package

Robert Walters is hiring for an Audit Policy and Quality Manager for a leading membership organisation - This role is based out of their London office but can support remote working 3/4 days per week.

This role sits as part of the Audit Faculty, providing leadership to members of this organisation who work in the audit field.

The role is comprised of two main elements:

Policy and Advocacy

The Audit Manager will represent the organisation and its members in advocating for a better, fairer and improved audit and assurance sector, and for helping to bring about change and improvements to legislation and for improving the field as a whole.

This work largely involves working with government, policy makers, regulatory bodies and other leadership organisations in the audit sector, attending round-tables, producing white papers, and contributing to thought leadership pieces, either in response to topical events or as part of more forward-thinking plans.

Member Services

The Audit Manager will provided services to members of the organisation who work in audit and assurance, including technical updates, topical content, thought-leadership pieces and other hot-topic areas.

This is done through a variety of formats such as writing newsletters/articles, producing webinars and videos, updating the website and other related media.

The company in question is a world-renowned membership organisation, with over 100,00 members worldwide, many of whom work in the audit/assurance profession.

For this role they are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / ICAS or equivalent), and someone with experience working in audit in the profession, in for a similar role for a regulator or training body.

The role comes with a salary of circa £70k-£75k + great benefits package including 9% pension contributions and family-level private healthcare.
