Responsibilities for the Credit Controller are:
- Chasing payment of overdue accounts, via phone, email and letter.
- Reducing debt to pre-agreed targets
- Dealing with internal and external queries and ensuring timely and smooth resolutions
- Completing daily banking duties
- Processing credit card payments
- Assessing the credit history of new and existing customers, using online services
- Maintaining customer details to ensure ledger accuracy
- Reconciliation of accounts
The correct candidate will possess:
- Attention to detail
- Previous experience of working with a credit control/sales ledger environment
- Experience of using Microsoft Office
- Computer literate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise own workload
