Exclusive Credit Manager opportunity, £80,000 + Car and excellent benefits, managing multiple sites
An exciting new permanent opportunity has arisen working for a leading service provider as a result of business growth and restructure managing multiple sites in both the north and south of the country and you will required to provide leadership and direction to all teams.
Working for a business who are poised for the next stage in its development the business now requires a highly competent, technically astute and commercially minded individual. You will be responsible for the full order to cash process maximising debtor performance and minimising bad debt. In this fast paced ever changing environment you will play a pivotal role in the growth and direction of the business alongside the wider senior management team.
Key responsibilities include:
Management of workload for a team across two locations of Credit Controllers, Sales Ledger Clerks ensuring all staff are properly trained and skills utilised appropriately.
Demonstrate ability to think logically and laterally to provide solutions to complex problems/issues
Lead continual improvement of the credit and recovery process to ensure customer / stakeholder expectations are exceeded at all times.
Reviewing and improving internal processes to ensure data quality regarding bad deb and invoices are accurate.
Select and manage 3rd party providers to support the debt collection process and possible ligation process.
Attend customer meeting in order to resolve issues, settle disputes and negotiate terms.
Implement KPIs and SLAs and continually review ensuring full compliance to the group credit policy
Lead the credit risk activity for the business ensuring sound analysis and decision making
A high impact, high profile position as the company is embarks upon an exciting period of growth and transformation. Instigating and managing change, as well as managing and motivating the team to deliver high standards of performance and developing talent internally are critical.
To be successful you will have previous experience of working within a Credit Manager capacity, ideally be MCICM have a strong understanding of business and possess excellent people management skills. You will be required to travel between multiple sites so must be flexible on working location.
You will be rewarded with an excellent salary of upto £80,000 + Car 25 days holiday and excellent benefits.
