An leading national electronics organisation, based in Chadderton, are looking to recruit an experienced Credit Control Clerk to assist them during an extremely busy period.
The Role and Responsibilities of the Credit Control Clerk position will include:
- Timely and effective collection of debts in line with the agreed debt recovery policy
Produce weekly reports on outstanding debt and distribute to key stakeholders, with actions for resolution
Customer liaison to support query resolution and debt collection, both verbally and in written forms
Set-up and maintenance of customer accounts and contract terms within the finance system
Checking and monitoring of customer’s credit ratings
Maintain and record direct debit collections, including a monthly reconciliation
Creation and distribution of accurate receivable transactions (invoices and credit notes) within the finance system from key source records
Timely allocation of cash transactions based on remittances and other supporting records
Adhoc finance tasks
The ideal individual will be a confident and experienced credit control clerk, proven at working in a high volume, fast paced environment. Good IT skills will be an added benefit.
