Product Control - Treasury

What you'll do:

• Ensure accurate daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting of Treasury products by maintaining robust controls and reconciliations across multiple systems.
• Collaborate closely with front office teams, risk management, and other stakeholders to resolve queries and provide clear explanations regarding product performance.
• Prepare detailed analysis on profit and loss drivers, balance sheet movements, and key metrics for senior management review.
• Support the implementation of new Treasury products by assisting with system testing, process documentation, and control framework enhancements.
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote transparency, reliability, and compliance within Treasury operations.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing timely information and supporting documentation as required.
• Participate in regular meetings with finance colleagues to share insights, discuss challenges, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting Treasury activities and ensure all reporting remains compliant with relevant standards.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members by sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
• Engage in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience in product control or financial reporting within Treasury or related areas of banking or financial services.
• Familiarity with relevant accounting standards (such as IFRS) as they apply to Treasury products is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other financial systems or data visualisation tools would be advantageous.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that foster trustful relationships across diverse teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning through participation in training programmes or self-directed study.
• Ability to respond sensitively to stakeholder needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
