Finance Business Partner

Robert Walters are exclusively representing a well-backed & high growth business in Manchester in their search for a dynamic Finance Business Partner to take ownership of a global remit.

This role involves working closely with the various Directors across the business, seeking new market opportunities and trends to drive continued success. You’ll build strong working relationships with board level stakeholders, providing financial insight & challenge to guide decision making.

The role:

• Work with the Finance and Executive leadership teams to drive continued strong financial performance, revenue growth & bottom-line performance.
• Drive increased financial awareness to the senior leadership team and non-financial managers.
• Work with the senior leadership team to develop appropriate analysis and understanding of commercial performance against KPI’s.
• Build forecasts which ensure operational buy-in and allow performance management with relevant KPIs.
• Develop the financial reporting requirements of new acquisitions.
• To work closely with operational teams and assist with queries.
• Support in systems and process development.
• Support the integration of new acquisitions into the group.
• Become a key liaison between finance and the wider business.
• Work on ad-hoc projects and improvements.
• Maximise personal skills, knowledge and experience to positively impact on performance.

Experience:

• Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
• Previous business partnering experience, ideally in a multidivisional international business.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and in particular Excel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proactive and able to build strong relationships with non-finance.
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of back-office systems.
• Ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives.
• Ability to think logically, consider all relevant aspects and carry out complex analysis on information.
