Corporate Finance Director

Robert Walters have partnered with an award winning, project based consultancy who are looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The Corporate Finance Director will be a senior member of the team supporting the Partners in both lead generation and deal execution. Throughout the last year our client have experienced considerable growth so this is a great opportunity for a corporate finance professional to join a business which is offering rapid progression and significant career development opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for advising mid-market businesses (including owners and senior management) who are considering a range of transactions including MBO’s, acquisitions, disposals and growth capital/debt funding predominantly in the £10m to £100m deal size range.

• Act as the central point of contact for all parties involved in the transaction. This will mean taking ownership and understanding all key aspects of a transaction including drafting of Information Memoranda, modelling and project management/deal execution.

Experience and qualifications:

• ACA / ACCA / CA (or equivalent) qualified.

• Significant experience working within a lead advisory role whilst at a reputable and fast paced accountancy practice, finance consultancy or investment bank is essential.

• In depth understanding of mergers, acquisitions, management buyouts and business transactions.

• Clear and confident communication and partnering skills is vital for this role. This is a client facing role so the ability work with all levels within external businesses is very important.

• The successful candidate should be ambitious, a team player and keen to develop their corporate finance skills.

Benefits:

• £85,000 - £90,000 base salary (some flexibility for excellent candidates)

• Office based in Berkshire or London
