  • Support budgeting, planning and reforecasting processes by meeting with revenue and cost P&L holders across the organisation and discussing findings with senior management for use in the budget cycle.
  • Build strong business partnering relationships with teams throughout the wider business to develop best practice tools, models and processes that enhance analytical capabilities within the FP&A function.
  • Work proactively with the FP&A team to improve current processes or introduce new ones that drive continuous improvement of financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Present financial information clearly and effectively to support strategic decision making at all levels of the organisation.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments to ensure accurate cost reporting and provide valuable business insights that inform operational decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial analysis frameworks that enable better understanding of performance drivers and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist in building robust financial models and business cases that underpin key projects and initiatives within the organisation.

  • Utilise advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyse complex datasets and create dashboards or visualisations that communicate results effectively.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Finalist status (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred for this role as it demonstrates your technical proficiency in accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in financial modelling is essential so you can confidently build robust models that support business cases and strategic initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a commitment to accuracy ensures your reporting is dependable for decision makers across the organisation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required so you can manipulate large datasets efficiently and produce clear visualisations or dashboards.
  • An enthusiastic approach to stakeholder engagement enables you to build positive relationships across different teams within the business.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills allow you to present complex information clearly while fostering collaboration among colleagues.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities equip you to address challenges creatively while maintaining focus on organisational goals.
  • Experience working within fast-moving environments helps you adapt quickly while maintaining high standards of quality in your outputs.
