Interim Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team in Coventry. This is a stand-alone role, in which you will take ownership of a key business entity, with responsibilities including month-end financial closure, financial forecasting/reporting, and ensuring compliance with SOx requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller to support different business units.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of our client's operations. You will take full ownership of a key busines entity, being responsible for month-end financial closure and accurate financial forecasting/reporting. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining compliance with SOX requirements and overseeing the overall control structure.

• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and overall control structure
• Ensure timely budgeting and forecasting on a monthly basis
• Provide effective information to local Engineering Managers & Program Managers, UK Divisional Finance team, European Corporate Finance teams
• Complete general ledger entries, corporate reporting, working with key stakeholders to ensure the achievement of key targets, metrics and forecast commitments
• Provide forecast data to management for use in business decisions

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience from a financial accounting environment. You are fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA or equivalent) and have excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel. Experience working with HFM / Hyperion is preferred, as is manufacturing/automotive industry experience. Your strong communication skills enable you to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to senior management.

• Fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
