Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Regularly review debtor position and manage overdue accounts.
• Maintain comprehensive notes within monthly management accounts files.
• Monitor creditor position, reconcile supplier statements, and handle payment queries.
• Manage monthly payment runs and ensure accuracy of bankline postings.
• Prepare cashflow analysis and review variances against forecasts.
• Conduct monthly reviews of balance sheet items with full documentation and notes.
• Oversee project accounts postings, deferred income releases, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Process VAT returns, manage intercompany balances, and support the preparation of mortgage and loan reconciliations.
• Compile quarterly financial statements and reports for board review, including action logs and statutory updates.

Essential Requirements of the Management Accountant:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
