Robert Walters Group: New Vacancy – Finance Business Partner – £42,000 to £45,000 per annum depending on experience

Role: Finance Business Partner

Location: Home based – occasional travel to Birmingham or London (Role and Team Base Birmingham)

Salary: £42,000 to £45,000 per annum

Qualification: QBE (Qualified by experience) or Part-Qualified – ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA

Study Support: Study support can be offered for this position

Hours: Condensed hours can be considered for this position

Duties of the Finance Business Partner:

  • Finance business partnering with a wide number of external partner heads
  • Complex financial advisory
  • Offer strategic solutions to budget holder queries
  • Able to track spend, forecasting and budgeting as well as providing evidence
  • Complete correctional, prepayment and balance sheet journal
  • Calculate prepayment and accruals
  • Carry out cost analysis
  • Update budget forecasts
  • Act as the finance knowledge bridge for internal and external stakeholders, including Directors, Project Managers etc.
  • Work with external auditors as required
  • Travelling occasionally to meet with budget holders
  • Assist with improvement across the finance team
  • Provide commercial finance support to budget holders
