Our client is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to step into a business that will challenge, enhance, refine and build on your skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Commercial Finance business insights, support and partnering.

What you'll do:

As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our client's business. You will be responsible for leading the Commercial Finance business insights, support and partnering. Your role will involve providing weekly trading updates, leading indicators, and performance against plan. Bi-annually, you will engage in plan reviews and modelling, presenting your findings to the board. You will also take charge of client renewals and mid-term drop-off reporting; collaborating with the Customer Success team to optimise performance. A significant part of your role will involve taking ownership of Commercial Sales and Customer Success reporting.

  • Lead the Commercial Finance business insights, support and partnering
  • Provide weekly trading updates, leading indicators, and performance vs. plan (budget)
  • Play a key role in bi-annual plan reviews and modelling
  • Take responsibility for client renewals and mid-term drop-off reporting
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to optimise performance
  • Take ownership of Commercial Sales and Customer Success reporting

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Finance Manager position brings a wealth of skills and experience. You possess advanced Excel skills and are adept at Excel modelling. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial as would a finance or mathematics qualification such as CIMA / ACA or ACCA. You have a high level of accuracy with a keen eye for detail. Your ability to highlight trends using data to support decisions sets you apart from others. You are proactive, with a strong desire to make a difference. Your proven business partnering communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels will be key to your success in this role. You thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.

  • Advanced excel skills and excel modelling
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
  • A mathematics degree is advantageous
  • A finance qualification is required (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
