This is a key leadership role offering significant influence across the business, with a strong blend of strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Director:
- Lead and oversee the finance function, ensuring robust financial governance and control
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to drive commercial decision-making and business performance
- Take ownership of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Provide strategic and operational insight to support business growth
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Work cross-functionally to align finance with wider operational objectives
Key essentials of the Finance Director:
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to operate across both strategic and operational delivery
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing key decisions
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent preferred)
