Financial Controller

Robert Walters are supporting a client in their search for a Financial Controller for a Watford based company on an Interim basis.

Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller will be to:

- Have full responsibility of the P&L & Balance sheet, including revenue recognition and lease accounting under US GAAP.

- Partner with the wider business to understand variances and provide forecasts.

- Partner with sales and operations.

- Prepare the group monthly Management Accounts for the UK, Sweden & North America.

- Review contracts for both the US & Europe from a technical accounting perspective

- Prepare the monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigating any anomalies

- Work closely with FP&A and support in the production of budgets and forecasts

- Support external audit and make required adjustments

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA or equivalent)

Be very comfortable with US GAAP reporting standards and lease accounting

This role is being recruited on an interim basis and will be onsite in Watford paying c£500pd.
