Financial Controller

Join a fast-scaling technology-driven fintech as Financial Controller, reporting to the CFO and shaping financial strategy across international operations. This hands-on leadership role demands a qualified accountant with deep IFRS expertise to drive technical accounting excellence, tax compliance, ERP rollouts and month-end closes while rolling up their sleeves to solve real-time challenges in a dynamic global environment.

• Oversee month-end/year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under IFRS across multi-jurisdictional entities.
• Lead ERP implementation and optimisation, enhancing financial controls, automation and scalability for global growth.
• Manage tax compliance, working with advisors on cross-border VAT, corporate tax, R&D credits and transfer pricing for international operations.
• Lead technical accounting for innovative fintech products, owning revenue recognition across subscription/transaction models, financial instruments and scalable reporting that powers global tech expansion
• Pitch in on ad-hoc projects: fix process gaps, support audits, refine forecasting and partner with ops/commercial teams to safeguard financial integrity.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong IFRS technical accounting skills and 5+ years PQE, ideally from fintech, financial services or tech scale-ups.
• Proven ERP implementation experience and hands-on close/tax execution in global businesses; Big 4 audit background a plus.
• Proactive fixer mentality: thrives in ambiguity, spots issues early and delivers pragmatic solutions with commercial impact.

• Lead finance transformation at a high-growth fintech disrupting global payments/technology.
• Competitive package: £90,000-£110,000 base (depending on experience), bonus, equity and hybrid London/global setup.​
