Finance Director: E-commerce

You'll:

• Oversee all aspects of the finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations while supporting business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s growth ambitions.
• Instil effective processes and procedures across finance operations, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and control throughout the department.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, providing insightful analysis to guide decision-making at every level of the organisation.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk management initiatives to safeguard the company’s financial health during periods of expansion.
• Support e-commerce operations by developing tailored financial models that reflect online sales dynamics and digital revenue streams.

You'll have:

• Proven track record as a senior finance professional within an e-commerce or digitally focused business environment, demonstrating deep understanding of online commercial models.
• Extensive experience overseeing finance functions including reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and risk mitigation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling you to build trusting relationships with colleagues at all levels as well as external partners.
• Strong analytical abilities allowing you to interpret complex data sets and present actionable insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to process improvement through instilling new procedures or adopting technology solutions that drive efficiency.
• Ability to mentor junior staff members by sharing knowledge generously and supporting their professional development within a collaborative team setting.
