Financial Controller

This permanent position offers genuine scope for career progression, with the successful candidate playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of the finance function as the organisation continues its expansion. Working closely with the leadership team, you’ll take full responsibility for financial operations, driving efficiency, improving performance, and contributing to key strategic decisions across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with directors and senior stakeholders to review financial results, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to optimise performance.

• Lead all areas of financial management including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.

• Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts for senior management review.

• Oversee cash flow and working capital, providing clear financial insight to support long-term business goals.

• Maintain robust financial controls, ensuring smooth preparation for both internal and external audits.

• Manage statutory reporting requirements including VAT, corporation tax, and other compliance-related filings.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

• Proven experience managing financial operations within a medium to large business.

• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

• A proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
