Interim Financial Controller

Our client is looking for a technically strong and hands-on Financial Controller to join them in a time of transformation and change. This candidate will be working effectively with the CFO to oversee and direct the company’s financial operations, creating a solid foundation to support the organisation’s growth. Location: Leicestershire Contract length: 6-month contract Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week Salary: £500 - £600 per day

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller

  • Oversee all accounting functions within the finance team for all companies
  • Ensure all key deadlines and legislative requirements are met
  • Day-to-day management of the finance team and their activities
  • Monthly preparation of management accounts
  • Monitoring and reporting cash flow
  • Monitoring outstanding debtors
  • Budget preparation
  • Implementation of a new finance system and improvements to the existing control environment/systems

Key Essentials of the Interim Financial Controller

  • Chartered Accountant (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Computer and IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite
