Financial Reporting Manager

ROBERT WALTERS - FINANCIAL REPORTING MANAGER Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum Location: Burton on Trent Our client, are currently seeking a Financial Reporting Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of content, technology and hardware. The successful candidate will have the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.

What you'll do:

• Developing, updating and documenting accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (US and UK GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring changes in accounting standards and assessing their impact on the company.
• Ensuring proper recognition and disclosure of financial transactions and events in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Reviewing financial statements and disclosures as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and standards.
• Researching and analysing complex accounting issues and transactions, providing guidance and recommendations to the finance management team.
• Assessing the accounting implications of proposed business transactions, acquisitions, or changes in accounting policies.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on accounting policies and standards.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience in US GAAP application to financial reporting and transactions.
• Qualified Accountant status.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex processes.
• Ability to collaborate and train across multiple levels in the organisation.
• Proficiency with Office applications.
