Robert Walters is partnering with an industry leading utilities and engineering business in their search for Group Financial Controller. This would be a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting business, during a period of ambitious growth.

Reporting into the Head of Group Finance, the ideal candidate will have ownership and development of the group finance function whilst ensuring they are working closely with group shared services and the operating business units.

This role is based out our clients Greater Manchester based office, offering hybrid and flexible working opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

- Management of the group financial reporting, finance systems and management accounts teams
- Group financial consolidation and management accounts production ownership
- Support Treasury team
- Ownership of Group accounting policies and procedures
- Leading production of subsidiary statutory financial statements

Key Skills:

- Minimum 5 years post qualified experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Strong technically
- Experience in financial management role
- Proficient leadership qualities
- Self-motivated team player
