Our client, a prominent player in the financial services industry, is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team. In this role, you will have the chance to shape the financial future of the business, working closely with their Managing Directors to proactively plan for their financial needs.
Direct management of a small team, fostering growth and development. Preparation of annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts. Business partnering with Managing Directors to drive key business decisions. Analyzing trends and KPIs for strategic insights. Ensuring adherence to accounting standards and guidelines. Owning the annual statutory audit process and regulatory audits.
What We're Looking For:
Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence. Ability to work effectively within teams and independently. Proactive and commercially aware mindset. Attention to detail and accuracy. Flexible and adaptable to an entrepreneurial environment. ACA qualification is desirable. Proficiency in major accounting software, ideally Unit 4. Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
