Are you actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA or ACA)? With Advanced level excel and data analysis skills? Do you have knowledge of financial modelling, analysis and interpretation? As a result of growth, we are excited to be partnering exclusively with a renowned Global Media Agency as they look to hire an ambitious and analytically minded Reporting Analyst into their team. With incredible modern and cool offices based in Central London, this opportunity will see you working closely with the CFO and Commercial Director to provide the monthly commercial reporting packs along in addition to maintaining data integrity of key systems.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the position of Reporting Analyst will be a pivotal member of the finance team and involved in providing meaningful and actionable commercial insights from data manipulation.
Further responsibilities include:
- Support the budgeting / forecasting process
- Prepare monthly working capital report
- Build a strong understanding of all systems - looking to improve processes and controls
- Use PowerBI and Excel to extract patterns and insights from data
- Historical trend analysis, forecasting and profitability analysis
- Business partnering with client services teams
- Provide meaningful and actionable insights as a result of deep dive analysis
- Other adhoc duties as required
Ideal candidates will have relevant analytical experience (at least 2 years) and will have previously worked as a Finance Analyst / Reporting Analyst. You will be actively studying towards an accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with Advanced MS Excel skills. You will enjoy working with large data sets and be familiar with data modelling, analysis and interpretation. Knowledge of Power BI or other Business Intelligence Analytic tools (preferred).
