Billing Specialist

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and issue accurate client invoices.
- Maintain billing schedules, manage billing cycles, and support multiple service lines.
- Ensure all billable time, costs, and disbursements are correctly captured.
- Reconcile billing data for month-end and support revenue reporting.
- Process credit notes, adjustments, and re-bills.
- Respond promptly to client and internal queries.
- Support revenue analysis, audits, and compliance checks.
- Keep accurate billing records and audit-ready documentation.
- Recommend and support process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
What You Bring
- Experience in billing, accounts administration, or a similar finance role.
- Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail.
- Confident using ERP/finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Netsuite).
- Solid Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
- Clear communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in professional services or regulated industries (desirable but not essential).
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles is an advantage.
