What you'll do:
As a Credit Control Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation of the credit control team. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of credit controllers, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the credit control process, ensuring all outstanding invoices are followed up on in a timely manner.
- Monitor overdue accounts, ensuring that payment terms are adhered to and liaising with customers to resolve issues.
- Approve customer credit limits and payment terms in consultation with senior management and the finance team.
- Prepare and present regular reports on the status of outstanding debts, cash flow forecasts, and collection activities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key customers, ensuring effective communication regarding payment terms, overdue invoices, and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and financial regulations.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement within the credit control process and recommend solutions.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Credit Control Supervisor position brings a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, particularly in credit control.
