An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly resilient and proactive Billings Clerk to join a fast-paced and dynamic team in Wythenshawe on a hybrid basis. This role offers the chance to work within a central finance department, handling key responsibilities such as raising invoices, resolving customer queries, and ensuring accurate data input across various databases.
What you'll do:
As a Billings Clerk, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the finance department. You will be responsible for raising invoices for customers, ensuring their accuracy to facilitate timely payments. Your excellent problem-solving skills will come into play as you handle any invoice-related queries from customers, communicating these effectively with internal stakeholders. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining customer records, validating information, and processing interface files into SAP. This role requires a high level of resilience, the ability to work under pressure, and excellent time management skills.
- Carry out pre-invoice checks and process billing information for all credit and non-credit customers
- Maintain data on various internal and external databases
- Resolve revenue queries both internally and externally
- Ensure prices on invoices are valid and in line with current Master price lists
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure account codes and ratios are updated
- Raise sales orders and invoices for third-party recharges
- Process interface files into SAP
- Obtain customer external purchase orders and run periodic data reports
- Assist Business Partners in provisioning credits/discounts or extra costs
