Our client is seeking a Credit Controller to join their dynamic team. Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all sales invoicing for the month is completed and issued in accordance with commercially contracted terms.
- Provide electronic statements to customers and undertake customer statement reconciliations.
- Build relationships with customers and proactively chase those overdue.
- Produce weekly aged debt position reports, providing comments and updates upon any customers not adhering to terms.
- Be accountable for the sales ledger positions within the media department.
- Liaise with data team on chasing 3rd party reports and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
- Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls.
- Prepare financial reports as required.
About you:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Commercial Credit Controller role.
- Proven track record of reducing debt within a business.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Advanced excel skills.
- Any accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA would be advantageous.
- Experience with ERP systems (Exchequer) would be beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
