The role holder aids senior management in reducing risk and mitigating costs thereby enhancing cash profit.

What you'll do:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business across diverse areas. Your responsibilities will encompass nurturing relationships with suppliers, ensuring precise cost reporting, and collaborating closely with the procurement teams. Your proactive approach will be crucial in enhancing processes and maximising asset utilisation.

* Adhere to all company policies, including financial planning and control, health and safety

* Ensure precise reporting of costs in accordance with accounting standards each period

* Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain optimum value from the purchasing of goods and services not for resale

* Monitor performance of save to invest initiatives to auditable standards

* Support the wider Finance team to boost their performance, progression, and team development

* Identify issues that will or are impacting utility consumption and work swiftly to mitigate and resolve such issues

* Manage understanding of the cost base and cost reporting among stakeholders

* Work proactively with stakeholders to enhance processes and maximise asset utilisation

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Receivable Specialist role brings a wealth of experience in finance roles. They will possess strong proven experience with Credit Control or AR duties, coupled with proven analytical abilities.

* Experience of working in a similar Finance role is essential

* 'Hands on' track record of delivering solutions

* Proven analytical skills are necessary for this role

* Proven track record of building strong working relationships with external suppliers is advantageous
