Robert Walters are assisting one of our clients who specialise within the legal sector and due to recent success are now trading on the London Stock Exchange. In order to support the activities of our clients Finance Shared Services function, we are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join their Liverpool team. You will have excellent organisational and time-management skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment. ( We are happy to consider candidates who have performed cash allocation duties as part of an accounts receivable role and ideally in a volume environment i.e blue chip or shared service centres )
• Provide cashiering support and analysis for the firm
• Cashiering duties including cash allocations
• BACS/faster payments/CHAPs/cheques/bill payments
• Month end reconciliation of all bank accounts by performing daily reconciliations adhering to SAR (Solicitor Accounts Rules) compliance.
• Posting of accounting transactions
• Other Ad-hoc duties
• Strong ability to work with Excel, Outlook and Word
• Worked within a finance department or in a shared service environment
• Has worked within the AR function in a previous role
• Experience in both office and client accounts, as well as multi-currency cashiering
• Knowledge of SARS is desirable but not essential
