AP Assistant - Immediate Start, Rolling Contract
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial transactions. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain efficient accounts payable processes while adhering to company policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and efficiently.
- Verify invoice details, including amounts, approvals, and coding.
- Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payment runs (e.g., checks, electronic transfers) in accordance with payment schedules.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments or account status.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Support audits by providing documentation and information as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow
