Accounts Payable Supervisor - 6 month FTC

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing supplier relationships, and upholding the integrity of the accounts payable process. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and motivated to drive process improvements. Strong communication skills are essential to collaborate effectively within the finance team and across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process multi-currency invoices promptly in the accounting system (Sage 200).
• Verify and code invoices accurately for proper analysis using Kefron.
• Record bank transactions and reconcile company bank accounts.
• Match invoices to purchase orders where applicable.
• Review and reconcile supplier statements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure invoices are approved prior to payment.
• Handle supplier inquiries via email or telephone.
• Set up new supplier accounts in Sage 200 and update existing account details as needed.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of aged creditors reports.
• Process staff expense claims efficiently.
• Execute payment runs and handle ad hoc supplier payments as required.
• Conduct month-end reconciliations on an ad hoc basis.
• Prepare annual PSA returns for HMRC.
• Manage carbon reporting responsibilities.
• Oversee utility management tasks.
• Issue company credit cards, manage requests, and perform monthly reconciliations between Sage and Expensify.
• Monitor incoming post in the office.
• Participate in ad hoc project work as needed.

Qualifcations & Requirements:

• Netsuite experence advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.
