Accounts Payable Associate

Opportunity for a skilled Accounts Payable Associate to join a leading financial services firm on a short term assignment.

I’m currently working with a leading financial services firm in London who are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to support their finance team during a particularly busy period. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing, fast-paced environment where you can hit the ground running and make an immediate impact.

This role will be ideal for someone who’s confident managing a high volume of transactions, has experience using Oracle Financials, and enjoys the structure and pace of working through a clearly defined workload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process a large volume of supplier invoices and staff expenses accurately and efficiently in Oracle

• Manage weekly payment runs

• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate/resolving discrepancies

• Support the finance team with month-end close activities and reporting

• Maintain vendor records in line with internal controls and audit requirements

• Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers during this peak period

• Assist with ad-hoc finance and admin tasks as required

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a busy Accounts Payable function, ideally within financial services

• Proficient in Oracle Financials (Fusion, EBS, or similar)

• Comfortable working with high volumes and tight deadlines

• Knowledge of UK VAT and experience with multi-currency transactions

• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail

• Available at short notice and able to commit to a fixed-term assignment
