Global Purchase Ledger Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a meticulous and proactive Global Purchase Ledger Specialist. This role is integral to ensuring efficient budget management and financial tracking across global and regional teams - EMEA, ASIA, and LATAM. The successful candidate will be responsible for submitting all purchase orders (POs), managing budget controls, and ensuring seamless financial operations across different regions. The role has potential to become a remote role following training.

Responsibilities:

  • Submit purchase orders for the global and regional teams (EMEA, ASIA, LATAM)
  • Record purchase requisition (PR) numbers in the control system
  • Update the system with PO numbers once received to facilitate accurate financial tracking
  • Maintain tight budget control, ensuring all payments and campaigns are tracked meticulously
  • Oversee the status of spending and track against monthly targets
  • Perform financial analyses and generate reports as needed
  • Manage the onboarding process for new vendors, including sending registration instructions and invites
  • Handle intercompany payments between different countries, managing the unique processes these require
  • Manage early payment requests by filling out necessary forms and obtaining required approvals

Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial processes and budget management
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in using financial tracking tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams
  • Experience in vendor management and onboarding is preferred
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to perform financial analyses and generate insights
  • Problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting vendor onboarding issues
