Robert Walters are delighted to partner with a business based in Watford looking for a Finance Admin to join their team. The role has opened up following growth and the business has plans to have doubled their team by the end of this year. This is a permanent role and will be reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager. You will be expected to have an understanding of the AP ledger and contractor related invoices.
General duties for the Finance Admin will involve:
- Assisting with the maintenance and responses of emails for all UK entities
- Scanning and filing invoices
- Entering invoices onto PO log
- Liaising with relevant teams with queries on invoices over phone and email
- Ad-hoc duties in order to assist the purchase ledger function
- Cover for staff annual leave
To be considered successful, the ideal candidate must:
- Have a proven background within a similar role and understand basic accounting principles.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be self-dependent and take ownership of their role.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Study support available
- Hybrid working (3 days in office and 2 days from home)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
