National market leading service provider requires a sales ledger clerk to join and expanding finance department
The principal responsibilities of the Sales Invoicing Assistant are to raise sales invoices and credit notes. The role will involve dealing with queries from both internal and external customers and suppliers, with necessary follow up to a satisfactory resolution. The role also includes other ad-hoc duties within the team as requested by the Finance Transactions Manager.
- Raising sales invoices and credit notes
- Checking correct VAT treatment
- Tracking rechargeable expenses and minimising write offs
- Providing customers with copy VAT receipts
- Query resolution
- Ensuring compliance with financial controls
- Cover for other duties within the team
The ideal candidate will have previous sales invoicing/accounts receivable experience in a fast paced, volume environment. You will also have the ability to work well in a team environment as well as on your own initiative.
