Our client is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to validate and process invoices for clients, drive operational cost savings, and prevent any additional funding or penalty costs. The successful candidate will be part of a global occupier management unit, working in a supportive and inclusive environment. This role is perfect for someone with strong IT literacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Assistant, your primary role will be validating and processing all invoices for clients. You'll be instrumental in driving operational cost savings while preventing any additional funding or penalty costs. Your responsibilities will include enabling the Cost Team to meet defined performance targets, establishing professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and management, carrying out reconciliations, minimising invoice volumes awaiting approval or being queried, liaising with suppliers, parties, carrying out appropriate recharge calculations on time, investigating and resolving invoice queries. You'll also provide advice/support to other team members.

  • Enable the Cost Team to meet defined performance targets in relation to invoice review, Reconciliation & Budget Reviews
  • Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with external and internal clients, colleagues and management
  • Carry out cost reconciliations
  • Minimise invoice volumes awaiting approval or being queried and minimise approval/query resolution times
  • Liaise with suppliers and other 3rd parties to obtain legal documentation in relation to invoice queries
  • Carry out appropriate recharge calculations on time and in line with supporting legal documentation
  • Investigate and resolve invoice queries
  • Provide advice / support to other team members to enable and ensure their contribution to outputs and adherence to procedures

What you bring:

The ideal Finance Assistant candidate will bring at least 12 months' work experience in finance processing or real estate operation. You'll have strong IT literacy with intermediate MS Excel skills. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will enable you to establish professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and management. With your strong analytical mindset, you'll be able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be crucial in this role.

  • Minimum 12 months' work experience in finance processing or real estate operation (desirable)
  • Strong IT literacy, Intermediate MS Excel skills are essential
