Management Accountant

Job Title - Management Accountant

Location - Hertfordshire

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Contract - Permanent

Working Pattern - 4 days a week in office, 1 day remote

Job Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for weekly takings sheets and revenue recognition processes across UK venues, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial records.
• Manage the fixed asset register and oversee capital expenditure reporting, maintaining up-to-date records that support effective decision-making.
• Handle corporate overhead accounting and forecasting activities, contributing valuable insights to support business planning and resource allocation.
• Review monthly revenue figures and venue profit & loss statements, identifying trends and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare statutory accounts in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and transparency at every stage of the process.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations including gift cards, deferred revenue, and stock accounts to maintain robust financial controls.
• Oversee all aspects of intercompany accounting for UK entities, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation between group companies.

Experience Required

• Possess excellent IT skills with particular strength in Microsoft Excel including use of formulas for data analysis and reporting purposes.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal abilities with clear written and verbal communication skills that enable effective collaboration across departments.
