Our client in Ashby‑de‑la‑Zouch is seeking a confident, proactive finance professional to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and can quickly pick up new processes.

🔎 Key Responsibilities

• Accurately allocate incoming payments across multiple accounts
• Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring timely resolution of queries
• Proactively chase overdue debt via phone and email
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Support the wider finance team during busy periods
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams

🎯 About You

• Strong experience in credit control, cash allocation, or a similar finance role
• Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working with high volumes and tight deadlines
• Able to hit the ground running — immediate availability is essential
• Competent with finance systems and MS Excel
• Positive, professional, and team‑focused attitude
